The General Contracting Superintendent is responsible for managing daily field operations related to concrete, structural framing, carpentry, and commercial building construction. This role also supports preconstruction efforts through quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, constructability reviews, and change order pricing.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Oversee daily field operations including concrete, framing, carpentry, and building systems to ensure quality and productivity
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules and budget objectives
- Support estimating efforts by performing quantity takeoffs, assisting with bids, and pricing change orders
- Partner with the Project Manager on scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and overall project execution
- Enforce safety standards, conduct safety meetings, ensure OSHA compliance, and mitigate job-site hazards
- Maintain accurate daily reports, monitor labor and material costs, and proactively resolve field issues to keep projects on track
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or similar leadership role within commercial or structural construction
- Demonstrated experience overseeing structural concrete, foundations, wood and/or steel framing, and finish carpentry
- Background in commercial or mixed-use construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience coordinating field operations and leading crews
- Estimating or preconstruction experience, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation, preferred
