This position will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to clients regarding their mortgage loans. Responsibilities will include navigating loan processes and handling documentation with precision, ensuring that customers' concerns related to loan terms or requirements are addressed promptly and efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of mortgage servicing, as you work to ensure customers remain in good standing with the company and receive the support they need throughout the life of their loan.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Customer Service: Address borrower and internal inquiries about mortgage loan details, including payment breakdowns, escrow status, and document-related matters. Maintain accurate records of interactions, prepare documents, and assist with questions or complaints throughout the loan servicing process
  • Payoff & Release Administration: Manage mortgage payoff processes, including calculating payoff statements, verifying funds, processing payoffs, and completing satisfaction documents or partial releases
  • Loan File Maintenance: Monitor exception reports, ensure system data accuracy, process various transactions (payments, interest adjustments, payoffs, escrow, etc.), and follow up on final documents
  • Cross-Training and Miscellaneous Tasks: Assist with various mortgage servicing functions such as escrow administration, insurance tracking, loss mitigation, credit reporting, loan audits, and special projects during peak times or team member absences


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of administrative office experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Chrome
  • Loan servicing or related experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
