They are seeking a skilled and motivated Crew Lead to oversee residential construction projects and lead a crew of carpenters and laborers. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in framing, siding, and finish work, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and top-tier craftsmanship.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Lead and supervise daily on-site construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure quality control standards are met throughout each phase
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
- Train, mentor, and motivate crew members to meet project goals
- Manage tools, materials, and equipment use and care
- Identify and solve problems proactively to keep projects on track
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction; at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in framing, siding, and finish carpentry
- Experience with high-end or custom home building preferred
- Familiarity with Montana building codes and local construction practices
- Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures
- Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive crew culture
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- First Aid/CPR or OSHA certifications preferred
