They are seeking a skilled and motivated Crew Lead to oversee residential construction projects and lead a crew of carpenters and laborers. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in framing, siding, and finish work, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and top-tier craftsmanship.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Lead and supervise daily on-site construction activities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure quality control standards are met throughout each phase
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
  • Train, mentor, and motivate crew members to meet project goals
  • Manage tools, materials, and equipment use and care
  • Identify and solve problems proactively to keep projects on track
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in residential construction; at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in framing, siding, and finish carpentry
  • Experience with high-end or custom home building preferred
  • Familiarity with Montana building codes and local construction practices
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive crew culture
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
  • First Aid/CPR or OSHA certifications preferred
