Specialty manufacturer near Missoula is looking for a full time AP Clerk to add to their growing team. This innovative and growing company prides itself on using American-made materials for their American-made products. 

This in office role supports the day-to-day accounting functions by ensuring the accuracy of financial records and assisting in month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing and be very comfortable overseeing the full AP process.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage AP workflows, including obtaining approvals and ensuring proper documentation
  • Prepare and execute payment runs via check, ACH, and wire transfer
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and provide accounting guidance
  • Assist with audits by preparing schedules and providing requested documentation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, or general accounting roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 100% in office
