A Scenic, Low-Key Summer Job with a Big Impact

Join us as a Passenger Loading Assistant at Apgar Village on the west side of the park helping visitors navigate the shuttle system while soaking in the natural beauty around you.

This is a customer service-focused position that plays a key role in keeping the visitor transportation system running smoothly. You’ll provide shuttle information, answer questions, guide loading lines, and help visitors safely board and exit buses.

Wage & Schedule:
  • Pay: $21.17/hour
  • Schedule: July through September
  • Part-time and Full-time opportunities available (minimum 2 days for Part-Time)
  • Shuttles operate daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Shifts are approximately 8 hours
  • Weekend availability is required (most shifts will be on Saturdays and Sundays)

Note: This position is located in Apgar Village on the west side of Glacier National Park

Housing is not provided, and arrangements must be made before applying

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Stationed at bus stops assisting guests with shuttle boarding and unloading
  • Directing visitors to the correct shuttle lines and providing clear, friendly guidance
  • Answering questions about the shuttle system and helping ensure safe, efficient passenger flow

What You’ll Need:
  • Ability to multi-task, stay positive, and problem-solve on the fly
  • A calm, helpful presence, even in busy or unpredictable situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
