Essential Functions and Duties:
- Assist patients with frame selection, lens options, and optical sales
- Interpret prescriptions and ensure accurate eyewear orders
- Take precise optical measurements (PD, fitting height, etc.)
- Fit, adjust, and repair eyeglasses
- Educate patients on lenses (progressive, anti-reflective, polarized)
- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory
Qualifications:
- Retail sales, optical, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of insurance billing/coding is a plus
- Optical experience or ABO certification is a plus (not required)
