A locally owned, outdoor-focused entertainment venue offering a fun and welcoming environment for guests of all ages is seeking a Seasonal Recreation Manager. Featuring recreational and hospitality amenities, the operation is centered on creating memorable experiences through excellent customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail. The team takes pride in providing a positive atmosphere for both guests and employees while supporting community gatherings, celebrations, and seasonal activities.
Wage: Up to $25/hour, depending on experience
Business Hours: Weather dependent
- Weekdays: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Weekends: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Late April to May – Friday through Sunday
- June through August – 7 days a week
- Reduced hours September and October
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Schedule, communicate with, manage, and train staff on company policies
- Ensure weekend coverage and shifts are filled during absences
- Open and close operations, including maintaining and stocking bathrooms and clubhouse
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
- Deliver and upsell exceptional guest experiences and assist with parties and events
- Operate the point-of-sale system, manage cash tills, and handle daily financial responsibilities
- Coordinate with owners regarding positive and negative guest experiences
Qualifications:
- Experience leading and supervising staff preferred
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, problem solver and a team player
- Creative and proactive in improving customer experiences and daily operations
- Comfortable working weekends, evenings, and holidays
