This is a direct hire Teller position where you would process financial transactions for customers at a local, long-standing bank. Let us help you join your talents with this financial institution to create a long-lasting career that benefits their client’s future and your future.

Starting Pay:  $17-20, depending on experience
Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.
  • Flexibility needed to work at either Kalispell location
  • No Saturday banking hours!
Skills and Requirements:
  • Cash handling experience required
  • Previous teller or banking experience preferred
  • Must be bondable and must maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Basic accounting knowledge desirable
  • Knowledge of and ability to use personal computer and 10-key
  • Must be able to provide courteous, personal attention to promote individual customer satisfaction and the public perception and reputation of the organization
  • Treat all customers with respect even in the most negative situation while conducting oneself in a manner that promotes trust in the individual and our organization
  • Work cooperatively and respectfully with all Bank Team Members and be self-directed
  • Flexible and willing to work in various areas of the retail operation , i.e., the teller line, reception and new accounts
Job Duties:
  • Process pay and receive transactions to include deposits, withdrawals and cashed checks
  • Accept loan payments, payoffs and process loan inquiries
  • Assist customers with closing accounts, issuing money orders, and cashier checks
  • Process stop payment requests and assist with outgoing wire transfer requests
  • Assist customers with safe deposit rent payments and entrance to boxes
  • Process bank by mail and night deposit transactions and process change orders for customers
  • Handle cash and all transactions with accuracy and within cash limit authority
  • Balance cash drawer at end of shift, print settlement tickets using cash recycler, resolve offages, balance ATM cash, and encode items
  • Process credit card advances, post payments and respond to credit card inquiries
  • Process work timely and submit batches with minimal errors while maintaining knowledge of banking products and services to cross sell to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining knowledge of and completing reports for Bank policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations/compliance requirements including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control Additional Responsibilities
  • Back up lobby reception by greeting and directing customers both in-person and by telephone
  • Review data input for quality control and scan documents into system
  • Complete required compliance and educational training annually and participate in a community events
