As one of Montana's safest and most trusted construction firms, they have the experience and resources to take on projects of any size. They’re looking for a Quality Control Assistant to join their growing team in Kalispell.

In this role, you’ll perform field and laboratory testing on construction materials such as aggregate, soil, concrete, and asphalt to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our construction projects by identifying material inconsistencies, supporting field crews, and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Perform testing and analysis on construction materials, including aggregate, soil, concrete, asphalt, and density measurements
  • Inspect materials to identify imperfections or deviations and collaborate with team members to determine corrective actions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed on time
  • Support maintenance shop operations through organization, cleaning, parts delivery, and pilot car assistance
  • Travel to various job sites to provide on-site testing and technical support

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in construction materials testing, laboratory experience preferred
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven commitment to safety, with adherence to all safety procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail in both independent and team settings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software tools for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing 50–75 lbs
