A growing local company in the Flathead Valley provides professional business and consulting services to organizations throughout the region and is seeking a Property Manager. The team works closely with clients to improve operations, develop practical solutions, and support long-term growth. With a collaborative approach and a focus on innovation, the company values professionalism, accountability, and building strong relationships with both clients and employees.
This hands-on role combines property care with the business side of real estate, including managing occupancy, coordinating vendors and contractors, overseeing repairs and improvements, monitoring expenses, and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and service providers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities and ensuring each property is maintained to exceptional standards
Wage: $40/hour and up, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, occupancy, and overall performance of assigned properties
- Manage rental availability, vacancies, inquiries, showings, tenant needs, and unit readiness to maximize occupancy and minimize downtime
- Monitor rental rates, market conditions, and property performance while identifying opportunities to improve revenue and property value
- Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance, repairs, renovations, seasonal needs, and capital improvement projects
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, landscapers, cleaners, and service providers, including scheduling, estimates, preventative maintenance, quality control, and costs
- Maintain accurate property records, expenses, invoices, budgets, keys, access systems, warranties, and inspection documentation while communicating effectively with tenants, vendors, ownership, and leadership and ensuring safety and regulatory requirements are met
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in property management, estate management, facilities management, hospitality, or a related field
- Active Montana Property Management or Real Estate License
- Strong knowledge of residential property systems with excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience with high-end residential properties, estates, vacation rentals, or luxury hospitality preferred
- Ability to independently solve problems, manage multiple vendors and projects, and follow through on priorities
- Comfortable working with budgets, invoices, estimates, financial records, Microsoft Office, and property management software
- Driver's license, clean driving record and clean background
