Parts Manager – $1,000 Sign on Bonus

As the parts manager, you would be counted on to direct the workflow through the parts department in a timely, profitable, and accurate manner.   If you like learning about what’s new in the industry and want to ensure the best possible materials and parts are available, you could be the right parts manager this great team needs!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage parts and supplies maintaining inventory levels and meeting daily order deadlines
  • Receive shipped parts verifying orders and inspecting for damage
  • Label parts with appropriate identification using the automotive repair management software
  • Work with vendors to ensure orders arrive as scheduled and maintain first call list of preferred vendors
  • Research vendors for hard-to-find parts
  • Track orders, ETA’s, and no quotes
  • Process returns and damaged products tracking credits and entering data in tracking software following documentation procedures for proper CCC coding
  • Mirror match parts to vehicles and maintain knowledge of parts status for all on-site vehicles
  • Reconcile parts with the repair order for each vehicle
  • Enter data from vendor invoices and scan invoices to customers’ repair order daily
  • Follow file management procedures and use invoice software to bill for repair orders
  • Notify management of issues with vendors monitoring backordered parts and communicating with the customer service representative to follow up with customers
  • Fill part requests for technicians
  • Manage part carts, organize parts supply room, and outdoor storage building
  • Follow standard operation procedures for suppliers and their products
  • Assist with equipment maintenance
  • Train team members and ensure procedures are followed
  • Attend team meetings and participate in continuing education as assigned


Shift:  Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
