A leading provider of communication and response products, located in the beautiful Flathead Valley, Montana, is looking to fill a Janitorial Technician position. The Janitorial Technician will help maintain a clean, safe, and professional facility. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day operations through a combination of janitorial tasks and preventative maintenance responsibilities. Essential Functions / Responsibility:
- Perform routine cleaning of lobbies, hallways, conference rooms, restrooms, and breakrooms according to the established schedule
- Disinfect surfaces, restock supplies, empty trash and recycling, and maintain cleanliness throughout all facilities
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and breakroom supplies; restock and notify supervisor when items need ordering
- Assist with light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and moving small furniture
- Support seasonal tasks such as weed control, snow/ice removal, and general grounds cleanup
- Report safety concerns or maintenance issues to the Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor and perform additional janitorial duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to core values such as teamwork, integrity, safety, and cleanliness
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, products, and chemical safety practices, including familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent and ability to lift/move up to 50lbs
