The Inside Sawmill Cleanup position plays an important role in helping the facility run smoothly. The Laborer will use a shovel, broom, air hose, and wheelbarrow to blow down dust from mill machine centers and clean wood bark and shavings in the mill. Assist the weekend maintenance crew with fire watch when hot work is being performed and cleaning areas where maintenance is being performed.

- Two positions — Shift Schedule: Day Shift, Full-time 40 hours a week
- Thursday through Sunday 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday through Monday (4) 10 1/2-hour shifts with ½ unpaid lunch.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Shovel and clear areas where wood dust and shavings have accumulated, into accessible areas for them to be disposed of
- Pick up scrap iron and garbage and place it in proper bins for disposal
- Use air hose nozzles to blow wood dust from areas including rafters & beams
- Clean up oil and water spills
- Uses a broom to sweep floors and walkways in buildings
