Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Train and supervise gift shop staff, create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and promoting a friendly and welcoming store environment
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly
  • Oversee inventory control, including stock replenishment, and manage product displays
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, well-maintained, and perform regular checks to ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
  • Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, basic computer applications and excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to lift, push or pull between 35lbs – 50lbs and comfortable standing, walking, and moving around the store for extended periods
  • Ability to pass a federal background check
