Framing and Finish Superintendent


High-end residential construction company is seeking experienced Project Superintendents to join their fast-growing team in Big Sky, MT. This company take tremendous pride in their workplace culture and truly value a positive work-life balance.

Job Description
The Superintendent provides on-site supervision and leads the efforts of employees, subcontractors and suppliers from drywall to completion. The Superintendent is responsible for safety/risk management, scheduling, materials procurement, quality control, crew allocation along with coordination efforts with Design Professionals and clients. The Superintendent is responsible for adherence to plans and specifications along with budget management activities. The Superintendent is responsible for managing all safety requirements as per OSHA and Company policy along with ensuring adherence to all other company policies.

This project is unique because it is a multi-phased high-end development of over 60 homes planned to complete in 2025.  Framing and Finish Superintendents work together to deliver a complete project yet each Superintendent will be able to specialize in either the framing or finish work. An ability to collaborate and learn from each other is essential to this position. Future projects may be based in the Gallatin Valley or surrounding areas and be a more typical setup with one Superintendent running the entire project.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Design Professionals, Clients, Staff, and Subcontractors to help determine project needs and maximize value to the project
  • Coordinate with Project Manager for scheduling & communication of field staff, subcontractors, material deliveries, tools & equipment use, as required to maintain project schedule. Superintendent to set project goals and deadlines
  • Coordination with local jurisdiction for inspections and code compliance
  • Manage all on-site activity
  • Understand and adhere to the project plans and specifications
  • Help maintain overall quality control of craftmanship & onsite materials
  • Ensure a safe workplace environment and follow, maintain & enforce the company safety policies

Job Qualifications/Skills
  • Construction Experience 5+ Years Preferred
  • Ability to read and understand building plans and specifications
  • Personnel Management Experience and Skillset with emphasis on a productive, respectful culture
  • Efficiency in Technology Programs Such as:
    • Procore
    • Bluebeam
    • Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Benefits
  • Generous salaried position starting at $100,000 – $120,000 per year
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) – 120 hours annually-accrued weekly
