A local general contracting company in the Flathead Valley, dedicated to building the Montana dream, is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join its team. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced construction professional who can lead a crew, coordinate day-to-day jobsite activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of craftsmanship.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Lead and supervise construction crews while remaining hands-on with carpentry and jobsite tasks
- Coordinate daily manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Oversee framing, finish carpentry, installations, and other construction phases while ensuring quality standards
- Communicate project progress, resolve jobsite issues, and coordinate needs with project managers and trades
- Enforce safety standards, maintain an organized jobsite, and mentor crew members to promote teamwork and accountability
Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of construction experience, preferably in residential or general contracting
- Previous foreman, lead carpenter, or crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and general construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep crews productive
- Commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and jobsite safety
