A growing luxury and design company in Bozeman, MT is seeking a skilled Estimator to join the team. This company works on custom design projects including fireplaces, elevators, cabinets for their high end clientele.

The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing architectural plans and construction drawings, developing detailed cost estimates and budgets, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure pricing accuracy. This individual will be a key player amongst the sales and development teams.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Prepare detailed time, cost, labor, and material estimates for luxury residential and commercial projects
  • Review and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to perform accurate takeoffs and define project slope
  • Analyze and organize project cast data 
  • Assess cost-effectiveness of products and services as well as monitor actual project cost against estimates
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, engineers, architects, vendors and subcontractors to refine project estimates
  • Establish and manage tendering processes, including bid preparations, subcontractor selection, and vendor negotiations
Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and construction plan takeoffs
  • Strong experience in cost analysis
  • Familiarity with P&L tracking and financial metrics related to construction projects
  • Able to occasionally travel to job sites, client meetings, and vendor facilities. (valid driver's license, required)
