Customer Care Specialist

LC Staffing is hiring a Customer Care Specialist for a long-standing, local company who offers superior service to the Pacific Northwest and surrounding areas.  Because customer service is important to this company, the Customer Care Specialist is one that is valuable and will be selected intentionally on how dedicated you are to providing exceptional customer service.

You would be responsible for communicating with prospective, current, and past customers and providing accurate information, impeccable follow through, and accurate documentation.  This position is also one that will maintain strong community relationships.

Pay:  $18 to $21 hour, depending on experience
Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Key responsibilities: 
  • Professionally communicate with customers and operate phone system
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers and suppliers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
  • Perform data entry of delivery tickets, work orders, and other account information
  • Perform various clerical functions of copying, printing, filing, sending, and receiving documents
  • Accept and process payments, balance cash drawer, prepare bank deposit, and assist in ordering products
  • May assist customers in completing account applications and follow the application through the credit and approval process
  • Establish, organize, and finalize new customer accounts
  • May work with Service Tech to schedule service work

Skills and Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Basic math and the ability to learn computer programs
  • Recent telephone, receptionist, and/or customer service experience, preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to operate a forklift or ability to be trained
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet business needs
  • May include occasional on call work on a rotating schedule
