A growing luxury and design company in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Custom Woodworker to join the team. This company works on custom design projects including fireplaces, elevators, cabinets for their high-end clientele.
The ideal Custom Woodworker candidate comes with a strong eye for detail and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship. In this role, you will build custom furniture, cabinetry, and specialty wood pieces according to client specifications and detailed shop plans. This position offers excellent long-term potential, including growth into a Wood Shop Manager role for the right candidate.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Build, assemble, and finish custom wood products to precise specifications
- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, drawings, and shop sketches
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain high levels of craftsmanship in both structural integrity and aesthetics
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Assist with quality control and shop organization
- Communicate with supervisors on project timelines, issues, and material needs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional woodworking experience in a shop environment
- Blueprint reading is a must
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and shop safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Physical ability to lift 50+lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and materials
- Able to pass criminal background check and drug test
