Mental health facility in Central Montana is looking to add a Clinic Nurse Practitioner. You would be working closely with the medical team to perform assessments and treatment for the in-patient residents. You would have the opportunity to work in an environment that focuses on making positive impacts on their patient's wellbeing every day.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to identify psychiatric problems and functional deficits
- Plan and prescribe patient treatment and medication administration and management
- Assess response to treatment and makes appropriate adjustments
- Consult with psychiatrists and other physicians regarding patient treatment and care needs
- Evaluate patients for physical health problems, and consult with and refer to primary care physicians in the facility's medical clinic as indicated
- Assist, as needed, with crisis interventions with patients
- Communicate practical assessment and treatment modalities with healthcare professionals and patients
- Provide group and individual therapy, and psycho-educational programs to patients
- Carry out on-call responsibilities, providing coverage for mental health issues while working on-call as the Medical Clinic Provider
Qualifications:
- Masters’ Degree from an accredited APRN program as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- Licensed as APRN in the state of Montana; prescriptive authority with assignment of DEA number
- Two years of experience providing psychiatric patient care as an APRN, preferred
- ANCC certification as Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric -Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist

Salary: $55.26 – $60.73 Hour
