A growing civil engineering firm rooted in Southwest Montana is hiring a Civil Engineer / Project Manager. This company specializes in delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions across land development, infrastructure, surveying, and river restoration projects. With a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration, and on-time delivery, the team brings together diverse expertise to create practical, sustainable designs that support both community growth and environmental stewardship.

In this role, you’ll contribute to a wide range of meaningful projects that shape and support communities throughout the Gallatin Valley. From subdivision entitlements and public water and sewer infrastructure to river and creek restoration, your work will span both environmental and urban development. Projects may also include designing and permitting for commercial and residential sites, preparing site plan applications for Bozeman, Belgrade, and Livingston, supporting ranch developments, and mountain road designs.

Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • 4–15 years in civil engineering with background in development, construction, public water/wastewater design, and site grading/stormwater design; experience with subdivision entitlements, HEC-RAS, and WaterCAD preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects on time and within budget, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience leading projects, completing tasks efficiently and accurately, and preparing final submittals for review agencies; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
